This is a selected concept-map preview, not the complete official syllabus or a promise of full lesson coverage. Chapter and concept counts include their separate class entries.

The map uses one shared IBDP (SL & HL) stage, not separate SL and HL routes. Signup carries your stage and concept as context, but account setup currently asks for a numbered class and does not automatically open the chosen concept.

What makes the path distinctive

Why choose IBDP?

Understand the curriculum’s strengths and the kind of learning it encourages.

University-ready

Highly respected by top universities worldwide; the research and writing load builds real readiness for degree-level study.

Inquiry and depth

Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay, and HL subjects develop critical thinking, independent research, and academic writing.

Well-balanced

Choosing across six subject groups keeps learning broad while HL choices allow genuine specialisation.

Whole-person growth

Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) develops character and initiative alongside academics.

01

Structure

Six subject groups plus the DP core (Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay, and CAS), taken at Standard or Higher Level.

02

Assessment

A blend of internal assessment and external examinations, scored on a 1–7 scale per subject with core points added toward the 45-point total.

03

Subjects & levels

Learners choose one subject from each group (with allowed swaps), balancing SL and HL to build a broad, rigorous profile.

04

Grading

Subject grades (1–7) combine with up to three core points; the diploma is awarded against defined point and requirement thresholds.

05

How we support it

Explore connected concepts and learning outcomes in the currently mapped subjects. This shared IBDP preview does not select SL or HL or guarantee level-specific practice coverage.

Small steps. Stronger understanding.

A simple way to make progress

Move from the syllabus structure to an idea you can explain and use.

1

Find your starting point

Choose your class or stage, then a subject and chapter.

2

Make the idea clear

Read the learning outcome and connect it to an example.

3

Practise and reflect

Work through questions and revisit what needs more attention.

IBDP FAQ

How is the IB Diploma organised here?

The current map includes Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches and Biology in one shared IBDP (SL & HL) stage. It does not offer separate Standard Level and Higher Level selections or cover all level-specific requirements. Follow your school’s course choice and official subject guide.

Is this the official IB syllabus?

It is educational support aligned to the IBDP structure, not a verbatim reproduction of IB documents. Version and reviewed date appear on every page.
