CMAT FAQ
Clear answers to common preparation questions.
Is Innovation & Entrepreneurship optional?
The 2026 official paper includes it as one of five equal-question sections. Do not use an older four-area preparation outline.
Does NTA allocate a management seat through CMAT?
No. Apply separately to the institutions you want and follow their cutoff and selection process. NTA conducts the examination and publishes the scores.
Should I prepare only Quant and Reasoning?
No. A balanced routine includes language, awareness and entrepreneurship too. Diagnose the area you have neglected and reserve regular time for it.
How can I revise General Awareness effectively?
Organise information by themes and connect an event to the institutions or economic ideas involved. Use short retrieval checks and revisit what you cannot explain.
