AILET FAQ

Clear answers to common preparation questions.

Is AILET the same examination as CLAT?

No. AILET is NLU Delhi’s own entrance route, with its own registration, scheme and admission rules. Its subject distribution differs from UG CLAT.

Is there a separate UG Legal Knowledge section?

The published 2027 UG scheme has three sections. Legal principles may be used to test logical aptitude, but no technical legal knowledge is required.

Does this page cover AILET LL.M.?

No. The map focuses on B.A. LL.B. (Hons.). Use NLU Delhi’s separate postgraduate examination and qualification details if you are applying for LL.M.

How should I practise Logical Reasoning?

Identify the premises and conclusion, then test which information is actually relevant. Review why a tempting option does not follow instead of only noting the correct letter.
