VITEEE FAQ
Clear answers to common preparation questions.
Is there negative marking in VITEEE?
Yes, in the 2026 official scheme. Earlier preparation pages that describe no penalty are out of date for that cycle. Confirm the scheme again for your target year.
Does the Biology route allow every B.Tech programme?
No. VIT lists specific programmes for applicants on the Biology route. Check that list and the required qualifying subjects before making your choice.
When can I choose a campus and programme?
VIT’s admissions guidance describes selection through counselling according to rank, eligibility and available options. A test result is not by itself a guarantee of a particular branch or campus.
What is a sensible first preparation step?
Check your route and syllabus, then choose a manageable chapter in each core subject. Add short English and Aptitude sessions, and review errors weekly instead of only collecting more questions.
